These terms apply to this website, shereenjenkins.com, and to all sessions, packages, and free practices offered by Akin Project, LLC, doing business as Shereen Jenkins (“I,” “me,” “my”). By applying, booking, paying, or using any free practice, you agree to these terms.
What I offer
I offer private 1:1 breathwork facilitation, as single sessions and 3-month packages, along with free guided practices. My role is to guide and witness, not to diagnose, treat, or advise. Please read the Disclaimer, which is part of these terms.
Who can work with me
You must be 18 or older. Every application is reviewed personally. Applying does not guarantee a session, and I may decline any application if the work does not seem like a safe or aligned fit.
Your responsibilities
Share honest, complete information about your health, medications, and anything that may affect your safety during breathwork, and tell me if anything changes.
Speak with your doctor before beginning if you have any medical or mental health condition, or are pregnant.
Listen to your body. You may slow down, pause, or stop at any time, and I encourage you to.
You are responsible for your own choices and wellbeing during and after sessions.
Payment
Payment is required before your session or start date is confirmed. No session is held until it is paid.
Single sessions are paid in full.
Packages can be paid in full, or in three monthly payments by card. The first payment is due before your first session, and the remaining payments are charged automatically each month.
Venmo and Bitcoin are accepted for payment in full only. Bitcoin payments receive 10% off.
Prices are listed on the Work With Me page and may change, but never for work you have already paid for.
Rescheduling and cancellations
You may reschedule a session once with at least 48 hours notice.
Sessions canceled or missed with less than 48 hours notice are forfeited.
If I need to reschedule, I will give as much notice as possible and offer a new time. If we cannot find one, I will refund that session.
Refunds
Payments are non-refundable once a session has taken place. Package sessions should be completed within 4 months of your first session; sessions not used in that time expire. If I end our work early for any reason, I will refund any sessions you have paid for and not received. If you are on monthly payments and choose to end early, remaining payments are still due.
Support between sessions
Package clients receive support between sessions by message. I respond within 2 business days. This support is not for emergencies. If you are in crisis, contact emergency services or the crisis resources I provide at intake.
Free practices
Free guided practices, videos, and audio are offered for general wellbeing. You use them at your own discretion and risk. Read the safety notes at the start of each practice and do not use them if any contraindication applies to you.
My materials
All practices, audio, videos, and written materials are my original work. They are for your personal use only and may not be copied, shared, sold, or redistributed without my written permission.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Akin Project, LLC and Shereen Jenkins are not liable for any injury, loss, or harm arising from your participation in sessions or use of free practices. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.
Changes
I may update these terms. The effective date above shows the latest version. The terms in place when you paid apply to that purchase.
